If you are a sports enthusiast and more specifically a Carolina Panther’s fan, then Cat Crave is produced for you. Cat Crave includes segments such as Rave or Rant, Panther Profiles, and Special Guest. The show is well produced, and host John White is not bashful when it comes to expressing his opinion. Cat Crave’s format is similar to sport programs often heard in a more traditional radio broadcast. This may be the reason why Cat Crave is not listed in iTunes which is a must for podcasters. Through well spoken guest and White’s rants, you will learn all about the Carolina Panthers including the apparent dissatisfaction with Julius Peppers. Listeners will do well checking out Cat Crave to satisfying their thirst for American football; just be sure to visit their website to find the show.

Cat Crave (feed) is a podcast for fans of the Carolina Panthers – American Football. Goodness, apart from the fact I hardly follow sports, some football (soccer) and cycling at best, I know absolutely nothing about American Football, let alone the Carolina Panthers. I found myself listening to incomprehensible jargon that sometimes bounded to the ridiculous. A new player of the panthers was praised for being fast by one speaker and the next added that he also ‘had great speed’. Only when a prolonging of the football season was discussed, I could make out some logic. More injuries, shorter careers for professional players – that I can recognize from other branches of sport.

This one presented a problem. I’m a Chicago Bears Fan and have not got over the whole Muhsin Muhammad thing.
That being said, this is a really good podcast for Carolina Panthers fans. I want to assure you that this is not one of those sports fans podcast with a few guys who complain for 30 minutes. This show was more like a news show in its format. You’ll hear team news, interviews, player profiles and much more.
I think anyone who is seriously into the Carolina Panthers will love this podcast. I didn’t find it on itunes but it is available on their website, which I’m sure, fans will also enjoy.
I don’t know how much the website or the podcast will appeal to the average Panther fan. It seems to be gears more for the die-hard fan.
